A Culinary Celebration of the Poconos, presented by the Pocono Mountains Chamber of Commerce. The event's theme, "Café Internationale," offers guests the once-a-year opportunity to savor some of the finest cuisine in the Pocono Mountains region as area restaurants and eateries prepare and serve mouth-watering samples of their culinary specialties. From Italian, French and Thai delicacies to Caribbean, Mexican and American taste treats, guests will feast on a wide variety of tantalizing edibles as well as sample fine wines and special brews. Annual Pocono Mountains Run for the Red Marathon

The Pocono Mountains hosts runners for a 26.2 mile race through Monroe County. The top finishing male and female each receive a cash prize of $2,000. Race day will also include a Run for the Red - Fun Run with a 5k. Race starts at Clear Run Elementary School in Tobyhanna and finishes at the Stroudsburg High School stadium.

In May, Quiet Valley comes alive with new baby farm animals. Come and join this celebration of new life. This is a unique opportunity to see and touch a variety of baby farm animals. Children always love the hay jump in the barn, and they can play some of the traditional games enjoyed by past generations. Pony rides are available for children and everyone will enjoy a wagon ride down an old railroad bed from the 1800's to the pond where ice is harvested in the winter. There are activities for all ages and plenty of good country food will be for sale, so come and bring the whole family.

The Presbyterian Church of the Mountain in Delaware Water Gap continues its outdoor Summer Concerts at the Gazebo with a terrific performance by the Jesse Green Trio. The concert will be held from 6:00pm to 7:30pm out on the lawn.

Pocono Mountains Bluegrass Festival
Hosted by the Blue Ridge Mountain Boys, the annual Pocono Mountains Bluegrass Festival comes to the Greene-Dreher-Sterling Fairgrounds in Newfoundland. Music will play Friday from 5:00pm to midnight, Saturday 11:00am until midnight, and Sunday 11:00am to 6:00. Admission will be charged.
