Glen Brook Country Club - 18 holes, Glenbrook RD Stroudsburg Wonderful layout of course. Excellent pro. Mike is patient with the beginner and great at fine tuning the advanced player. Flat and wide fairways with medium sized greens. The course at Glen Brook is one of the oldest golf courses in the Poconos. It is a gently rolling course that offers a great variety of holes to play. With scenic mountains in the background, it is a sporty, never boring course to play. Glen Brook brings water into play on five holes and has relatively small greens. If you are tired of billiard table course (long flat and uninteresting) then Glen Brook will rekindle a zest for real golf. There's a challenge on every hole, both for the high and low handicapper.

Tamiment Golf Course - 18 holes, Bushkill. Old classic design course, some say comparable with Pinehurst Golf Course, in design. Good condition. Fairways are medium width and hilly. Large greens. Stay at Pocmont Resort and Play Tamiment Golf Course. Among the great golf courses, scenic beauty plays an important part. We have the spectacular courses along the blue Pacific, Pebble Beach and Cypress Point; the thrilling Rocky Mountain courses at Banff and Jasper Park; the eye-filling ocean view one gets at Midocean in Bermuda; and that inspiring botanical amphitheater at the Augusta National. Cherry Valley Golf Course - 18 holes Cherry Valley RD, Stroudsburg, Average course with average conditions. Good for beginners and juniors. One of the closest courses to New Jersey. With the new renovations completed in 2006, golfers from everywhere are raving about the changes at Cherry Valley Golf Course in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. A change in the layout adds a twist to things. Come enjoy 3 new holes, cart paths on all 18 holes, new trees, traps and rebuilt tees (which will lengthen the course) and overall improved course conditions. Cherry Valley is still one of the most scenic golf courses in the Poconos, with wonderful views of the Appalachian Mountains. Cherry Creek comes into play on both the front and back nines, making for carried shots on a variety of holes.

Great Bear Golf Course , WINNER - Best Golf Course, Private - Rt. 209 North of Marshalls Creek. Great design and conditions, as opposed to the classic Nicholas courses, which can be difficult around the elevated green. Great Bear's greens are easy and not elevated. Wild Pines Golf Club - at Pinecrest Lake Resort. 18 holes, Pocono Pines 570 646-4444. New course, beautiful layout, uses the natural topography of the land, has computerized golf carts with mapping system.

Woodloch - Woodloch Springs Hawley PA. This course has been given national recognition as being noted as a "rare find" in The Metropolitan Golfer Magazine. The championship, 18-hole, par 72 layout winds its way across 6,579 yards of fern-carpeted forests, wetlands and upland meadows. There are four sets of tees on every hole, sculptured bunkers and water holes, miles of cart paths and bridges. The signature 14th hole presents a dramatic carry over "Hell's Gate Gorge" carved from the mountainside by a rushing stream 200 feet below. A very difficult course. Save this till your REALLY good. Available to Guests of Woodloch Pines and Woodloch Springs.
